Good customer service. I have bought many scag parts, quite a bit of stihl equipment, and just picked up a new Wright mower. Alex and John always seem to help out anyway they can. The rest of the guys are great too.

Reserved a rental. Called ahead of time to ask if I could pick up the reservation using my wife’s card and without a license because I misplaced mine, and knew it might be a problem. Was told it wouldn’t be an issue. When I tried to pick up the rental, a different employee said I had to have my license, and that his coworker “might have meant” I could pick up the item if my wife came with me. Drove 30 minutes, after calling to ensure I wasn’t wasting my time, to learn I’d wasted my time. Employee I spoke with was rude and apathetic, which made it worse.

Alex is the man. Im a professional landscaper in the Columbia area and I found today that Thompson’s Rental in north east Columbia has a vast supply of replacement parts for Sthil,eco,scag and other brands. The have fully stocked shelves of power tools and parts all other stores can not keep in stock. I made a visit today and they had everything I needed with excellent service and great prices.
