Whew goodness gracious I'm so glad to be almost done with this child support department!! Every call it's something different being told to me. For parents who pay, make sure you make the drive to the headquarters and turn in your child's graduation program and your ID bc they'll swear they didn't recieve the fax. I was told 90 days to close a child support case. Now im told itll be up to another 90 days. Wow, and why?? Is SC pocketing my money ? These guys and girls are so very understaffed and it's awful for the people on the other side. Everyone on the phone is just plain out uninformed. Some are friendly, some, you can tell they do not want to be bothered and barely listen, let alone help you. In person they are super. Still, give more staff ! That's not entirely their fault. SC get it together!

did not receive my monthly benefits
Yes this true... The hold time is long. You maybe able to ask for a face to face interview with the county office instead of the phone interview.
I wanted to find out about $135 increase and other additional benefits ie vision hearing etc
No..this month was the last month for the emergency allotment as well. I hope they continue it, with the cost of living so high.
Idk but I think to the one on two notch but I'm only wiping down for covid 19
You need to call DSS Connect, that's the call center. That number is 800-616-1309.
Hi Xig. Thank you for reaching out about your girlfriend. Please call (803) 714-7444 to speak to someone who can help you make this report.
This the best help you'll get https://dss.sc.gov/contact/
You would need to contact the local DSS Office and request to speak to a CPS supervisor.
You can call DSS connect at 1.800.616.1309 or your local county DSS office they should be to answer that question for you.
Wait for paperin the mail
Go to your local DSS and they will help you with that.
They are done by another agency not Dss
No, next door at DHEC
Depends on your expenses. If you're paying rent or mortgage and utilities it helps when getting a higher benefit amount
You can go to your local county office and request a face-to-face interview
Call the helpline
Go to the Medicaid office
