Laurens electric not my service the 2 years of service sucks I rather have my Duke power back.to many power outage with laurens electric..bills high don't get no credit for outage.

The worst power company to ever deal with! The people are rude and they will cut you off 5 days after the bill is sent out… other companies will work with you but not this company… But we have no other options so it’s a monopoly and that’s why they treat others the way they do

I have been a Lauren’s Electric customer for 40 years, I have over the years experienced power outages for numerous reasons. LEC has always handled my outages in a timely manner. Today from the time a tree was blown across the lines due to high wind until the power was restored it was less that an hour. OUTSTANDING JOB LEC.

Hi Pamela, you should have been able to get in touch with a dispatcher last night by calling 1-800-942-3141. Also, when you pay via app, our online payment portal, or kiosk, it generates a reconnect order once the balance is paid. Please call the 800 number today and ask to speak to Paula.
This is a power company not a water company unless you are on a well pump system that you maintain

I think u can
You will have to call and make arrangements with them.
Crystal, if you call 1-800-942-3141 and speak to a customer service representative, they can help break down your bill, explain charges and help determine if something is wrong.
A car accident broke a pole. As soon as 1st responders clear the scene, our crews can replace the pole and restring lines.
Hi Faye, we hope the personal email from our customer care team answered your questions.
Hi Shawna, there are a number of options for paying your bill without speaking to a CSR: Use our automated phone payment option, log onto your account and pay online, visit the kiosk in Laurens or the night deposit, or use our app.
If you call in about it they will send someone out to fix it
It's not possible to guess restoration times when outages are scattered in nature and caused by storms. In some cases, crews can restore power to a large number of people by repairing one major span of lines. In other cases, crews may have to go to individual residences and trace the source of the outage by riding (or walking) the lines with chainsaws and flashlights. With a new line of storms on its way, this may be a long night, certainly for linemen.
Hi Kathy, your power outage was caused by a tree on power lines. Crews cut away the tree and repaired damage and power was restored appx 2 hours later. Be sure to always report outages at 1-866-9RESTORE. Regarding restoration times, it's often impossible to predict because each situation is unique. The crews in the field are often in the dark, in isolated locations, in inclement weather. They can estimate how long it may take to cut away a tree from lines, but they can't predict whether there will be further damage to repair afterwards. That's just one example.
Crews are responding to power outages affecting nearly 4000 members after a line of storms moved through the area. We appreciate your patience as our linemen work as quickly and safely as possible removing fallen trees and limbs, re-stringing lines and correcting any resulting damage.
Any of our other offices is a payment center (Laurens, Mauldin, Joanna, Woodruff). This address is only an operations center.
