Friendly staffs, great service, and delicious food. I got the grilled octopus, which was cooked perfectly, pairing with arugula and thinly slice celery with in vinaigrette. It was perfectly seasoned with a slight hint of char taste and a clean finish taste from the green. The other was the Ferro Verde, it was also very delicious. Highly recommend this place, very small and cozy atmosphere. If you plan to come with a party I highly recommend call and make a reservation first.

I loved everything about my first experience at Lucia. Something they do which I found unique — even if you are sitting at the bar, they have a waiter that serves you. David was our server, he was so polite and charismatic. It was very busy, so it was loud but had such a vibrant atmosphere. Everything we had was delicious, here are a couple recommendations: • Sourdough with cultured butter • Their version of the Cacio e Pepe • A Bar N Wagyu

I loved everything about my dinner at Lucia! The service was top notch and all the dishes were creative and delicious! It’s absolutely worth the wait for a reservation.

We came here for my birthday after quite a few months of trying to get a reservation on a day that worked for us. Lucia opens up their reservations a few days in advance so you really have to keep an eye out if you want to make sure you can select the day and time that works best for you. The restaurant is located in the Bishop Arts district which already makes it part of a nice plan. We love going to BA, walk and shop around. The place took over the space that used to be Macellaio. The restaurant feels cozy and small but can fit quite a few dinners. The overall ambience is nice, low light, small but comfortable tables can make it a romantic night out. Service was outstanding, my wife has a seafood allergy and they had a menu with all seafood options crossed out to make it easier for her. Our waiter was outstanding in explaining and recommending options. Food was really good. We definitely ordered more than we should have but took some leftovers home. Their bread and cold cuts, which are made right there, are outstanding. Very flavorful and well made. Pasta and beef were also really good. If anything, the dessert was the only dish that we really didn’t enjoy that much but I am sure that most people would like it. We spent approximately $200 for dinner. I did have a couple of old fashioned (which was delicious btw) and we did order a lote more than what we should have. I believe the check would be more on the $120-$150 range now that we understand the menu a bit better. Overall Lucia is a very nice experience. For sure one of the top Italian alternatives in Dallas. We would definitely recommend it and will be coming back.

Yes, we've been bringing our son since he was that age. Never been a problem. He's 9 and has been there 4,5 times.
You need to walk around in the Bishop Arts District anyway. Lucia is worth the walk anyway!
