It was about 50 years ago that I first remember my dad going to see Charles at Kar Kare. The honesty and integrity continues as Chuck and his dad, Charles still provide quality, reasonably priced and friendly automotive care. Speaking of “friendly”, I see some reviews where people mention the lady at the front desk as being “unfriendly” or using other less than flattering terms. I believe that the folks writing those reviews should give her a fair chance, realizing that people have different personalities. Just because a person may be quieter or more direct than others doesn’t mean that they aren’t friendly. My interactions with this lady show no evidence of her being unfriendly. Also, I am sure that the Taylor’s would not allow their customers to be treated rudely by any of their employees, whether front desk staff or shop technician. Kar Kare is a top-shelf business and those businesses that reflect the same integrity as they do are few and far between.

I have used Kar Kare of West Columbia for 35 + years. They have fair prices. They get the job done quickly and correctly. They stand by their work. They provide wonderful services. The folks that work there are polite and treat customers with the utmost respect. I have never been disappointed in this business. They do not try to sell you extra items or services that you don't need. They provide clear solutions to problems and will tell you the cost of the repair(s) before doing it. There are no "hidden fees." This business is one of the most honest that I have ever dealt with in SC. My family and I continue to use this Kar Kare for our vehicles. I highly recommend this business.

This place is amazing. Had a rough morning- a tire leak just a couple of hours before a longer drive to airport. After being denied by Firestone, Goodyear, and Midas as they could not promise to get it done within 5 hours, Kar Kare did it under 2 hours and for a much lower price than I was expecting. Chelsea was so kind and saw how stressed out I was. She asked her boss to confirm that they could get it done quickly and he without hesitation said yes. I was referred to this place by a friend who has had multiple very positive experiences with them. Thank you Kar Kare!!! You made my Friday so much better.
