Love the librarians here! I took my child(ren) every Tuesday night for years when they were younger and my youngest and I just started returning with a grandchild. The ladies from our previous years remembered us and welcomed us back with huge smiles! Summer reading program is great! Entering Fall now...loving the hidden treasures placed around the library for the kids to find. Very entertaining.

We dont go to this library often, but it was on the way home so we decided to stop, and it just so happens, they were doing a scavenger hunt for the kids, and my child was able to go in, check out books, and do a scavenger hunt and found all the items. The lady's were real nice. We might go to this one more often. It's closer to home as well!

So, I haven't been to a library in years. Since 2008 or so, I've just been living and working and not really reading unless it was something I absolutely had to or hyperfocused on a book- today I walked into the South Congaree-Pine Ridge Branch Library and found my self warmly greeted by the staff. The librarian helping me suss out my fees from back in the day and look for books to check out, taking her time to explain each and every answer to all the bizarre questions I had was an absolute delight, and at the end of the day... Just go to your local branch. Twelve dollars in fees from 15 years ago shouldn't stop you from reading. Thanks for being so inviting and caring. I look forward to enjoying this summer reading program and loving reading again with the help of your library!
