I spoke to Dawn. After our water was out due to a storm they turned the water pressure up so high that we can't use water at all in our home. Dawn told me that it wasn't an emergency and to call back Monday. We can't even use our toilets. When I complained she hung up on me. Absolutely appalling that they refuse to fix our issue in a timely manner.

Our neighborhood suffered a water main issue. Can’t call to report it on weekends. Non existent service.

Constant dirty water even for people who replaced all of their plumbing. It's shameful we can't have clean water and scary. Fix the problem and replace our plumbing from the city of columbia.

Dan Prince: I live at 4010 Live oak Street Columbia S. C. 29205 My water is Clemson Orange and I would like to know what is going on. 1:28 P M 08-10-2019
I would suggest writing your city council notifying them of the current situation you face being that you have Exhausted all Means by reaching out to the city of Columbia customer service and there was no help no I will suggest this as your 2nd option outside of news 19
It all depends on where you live because I just paid mine this morning and I live in rosewood
Yes you need to contact customer service and if it isn't a issue on your side of home you can possibly be compensated.
That is the responsibility of the City of Columbia public works building,2910 Colonial dr... An yes they have someone on call generally.... hope this helps
No they will be closed
There was a main break in Kingston Plantation around the corner on Friday afternoon. Noone said anything about it. Our water is still cloudy, and it's Sunday night. I'm in Autumn Woods
As Tonya says, yes. A copy of lease is required, or verifiable statement from landlord/manager. Deposit may be required.
it is not accurate at first until they get your second bill in the system with the new meter it will be higher that first month
Go see them in person at Harden Street and Sligh Ave. Don't waste your time calling them.
Well if you don't pay they can possibly disconnect your service. And I'm pretty sure that's what they'll do. You may need to make a trip to the office to get an immediate result. But in my opinion that sounds more like a plumbing issue versus a problem with your water meter. The meter is only responsible for releasing water into the home and keeping track of usage.
What is your per unit cost?
It depends on your water usage
Go downtown to the utility office. Make sure you bring along a tax bill. If you had water service - and bills - before this other account, bring some of those to show you already were a customer.
You must pay off last balance to open up another account or u can put in a spouse name and you only will have to pay is the connect fee

I do apologize. I am not in customer service. You may have to give them a call for an answer to that question...sorry I couldn't be of much help
Every 28 days look at your last bill it will give you the information..
Every month.
Yes its in Elgin, call the number on the notice.
there is no deposit. $45 application fee that can be billed
That is a great question, I have had multiple issues with then on different levels, resolution and such vary, but #1 not always timely..
Yes, that's true. Because the sewage company processes of all of the water that comes from your home so that it doesn't affect the environment in a negative way
