Been a big fan of Fatz since I moved south 10 years ago. Used to go all the time till The Fatz near me closed so I only drive out of the way for special occasions. (20 min drive)I think this might be my last time going to Fatz, unfortunately. Only two employees to tend to about 10 or so people. Lots of people outside. One being waitress , the other was hostess who was helping do orders, drinks, etc. Both were rushing all over the place to take care of people. I felt so bad. Our waitress was really nice. She kept apologizing because she was so busy and they also apparently didn’t have ice! Lol We got our food pretty quickly. I noticed the menu has changed, a lot. Not much on it anymore. We ordered cheese fries app. Extremely small for 11$.. also only 3 options for steaks. I got the bourbon steak. While it was really delicious, I wasn’t happy with how much food you get for how much you pay. You get a decent size steak but only one side. “Baked potato”. I changed mine to “premium baked potato” which cost extra.. it was okay.. not much filling at all.. so an okay sized steak and one side for 32$.. tbh we should’ve left when we saw the prices and menu changes but I figured I’d give it a chance. Wish I hadn’t. Even their bread rolls changed. Really disappointed in this place. Only good thing was the cinnamon butter, the seasoning on the steak, and our amazing waitress. Even the table was gross and peeling.. the silverware is bent and you get plastic crummy cups that look like they’re from the 90s.. Overall, Fatz has gone down hill. I won’t be back unfortunately.
