If you need to talk to a human being in the pharmacy, you will be on hold for an hour, and when they do answer, their Prime Objective is to get off the phone as quickly as possible. This isn’t the only CVS like this. Walgreens and Harris Teeter answer right away or within a few minutes, and they are always helpful. Go there instead.

I finally was able to get an appointment for the latest covid booster at CVS on Fordham Boulevard. I got several reminder and texts after making the appointment reminding me of the day and time. I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment, checked in with the link in the reminder message that CVS had sent just an hour earlier, and went to the pharmacy desk as instructed, where I was told that they had "unexpectedly run out of booster" and had "been trying to call people all day." Maybe you could inform people by sending them texts, just like you have multiple times already, or changing the outgoing reminder texts to cancellation texts? No thanks for this failure of customer service, CVS.

I have found that the Fordham Blvd. CVS has very good customer service. Two employees I would like to mention in particular are Duchess, who helped me so much in the photo department, and Chelsea at the cash register. Each of these ladies was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and tremendously helpful. They are both exceptional assets to CVS. Now I know where I will shop regularly!

They did very briefly in '20. No longer. There is always drive-by pickup for Rx's.
