Horrible and sketchy Bank, please stay away! I had an account with them that I was trying to pay and they refused to take a check, wanted cash. What bank does that? Later on I discovered the account was being handled by a collection company but no one at this bank told me this, they just wanted cash. STAY AWAY FROM WOODFOREST BANK!!!

They advertise that they have Western Union but when I went there to pick up some cash, they told me that their western union is down. One star is for their politeness.

I think they don't deserve a star at all.The overdraft my account $330 for 0.06 charges that i didnt authorize . I went into the bank and spoke with them and the indian lady that work the counter was extremely rude and made it seem like I was getting on her nerves because she had to do stop payments on 0.06 charges like 17 time. They canceled my old card and get a new one for nothing to change. I was assured my account would be fixed and they LIED. I woke up to my account 130 overdraft and called the customer service line and she says it was never done. mind you i waited in this branch for over a hour for this lady to so call fix me account. I stopped my business account with them because they really don't help and aren't beneficial to customers i think the make all their money off over draft fees . THEY COST MORE & BASICALLY CHARGE YOU TO HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT !! PLEASE DO BUSINESS ELSE WHERE TO SAVE HEADACHE AND MONEY .
