Employees are quite rude at times and often the dogs are sitting in their own poop , but I understand you can’t control that often, but it’s quite sad.

About 10 days a stray cat showed up at our home and was badly injured. We called the animal shelter and they came and picked him up. Less than 5 days later and 7 miles from the shelter he showed back at home. Initially I was told he was still here. When I called to inquire as to how he got back I was informed that they catch and release once the animal had been spayed, neutered or has a microchip. This cat has none of the above. When pressed about the issue the staff could give no honest answer. Be aware when you contact these people because they aren’t what you expect. ***PLEASE DISREGARD THIS POST!!!! God bless the Men and Women staffing and running our city animal shelter. Amazing individuals and a superb facility. Recently adopted from here and my wife and I want to give back by donating supplies. 11/10 these animals need and deserve loving homes. Please support your local shelters however you can!

I mean they dont mind. But at the same time if you do it more than a couple of times they will just ask you to be a volunteer.

You do not have to give her back. They neglect the animal. She is yours now. I'm sorry u r going through this but if she's been with you and you have receipts and text about not wanting the pets. Also vet bills save everything

I don't think fostering cost bc u are just caring for the animal until it finds a forever home. However I do believe u have to take a short course at the shelter.

I adopted a cat recently. A dog I was wanting was also adopted by another family. Just have to keep checking back.
