Station is a bit dirty, a nice railfan spot but there are occasionally homeless people.

This was my first time coming here to this train station and it was pretty basic and decent. Not too many people when I was there. And the cleanliness of the train station was pretty good.

Is there a monthly parking rate for parking at the Mount Vernon West train station? If so, what is the rate, and is there a waiting list for monthly parking permit? Please advise. Thanks. Steve Greenberg

No, but there are free street parking available, look mostly on the residential blocks. Just be mindful of the street signs. You can't park everywhere at anytime.
