You are required to take a test that she gives you if you have no high school diploma or GED and that test is free

Yes, as long as you will be using ur certification in NY.
She's usually open from 9 to 5 the class is not free the class cost $500 I'm not sure maybe it's less now or maybe it's more because she was speaking about changing her prices usually registration before the classes depends on how much space there is in the classes so it could be from a week to two weeks to 3 weeks
