We ate here for the first time earlier this week and had an overall good experience. To start with the positives, these were the best Italian restaurant meatballs that I've had in this area. They were fresh, tender, juicy, and I loved the sauce. The mozzarella sticks (and more of that sauce) were also fresh and delicious, with a really good batter. I thoroughly enjoyed my Ortolan stromboli, which had chicken, cheese, mushrooms, and broccoli. My only critique is that the onions I added were missing, and there could have been more broccoli. It was a little sparse. But the crust on that stromboli was so good that it was still wonderful. My husband's personal pepperoni pizza didn't quite measure up to my meal: the pepperoni had a very strong taste, while the cheese had very little. The dough really took away from it; it had a strange aftertaste and just doesn't complete with some other similar places. The service was a little slow, and they weren't overly busy. But overall, good experience and we will be back to try some new dishes!
