Beginning in February of 2021 I spoke to one of the sales consultants from 365 solar energy. In March I got a shipment of solar equipment. Beginning in April is when I started to see some progress from the company. They sent some guys out to start installing solar panels and the battery after I had received the shipment in my front yard. Once everything was set-up things seemed to be working as expected but around a month into using the panels, I noticed that on my PWRview app, the amount of energy that it said it was sending back to the grid and drawing from the grid was very inconsistent with what I was seeing on my meter which was a red flag. As I began to test and do my research, I came to the discovery that some measuring instruments called current Transformers, CTs for short, were placed in the outdoor main panel incorrectly. They were placed below 3 circuit breaker loads and they should have been placed above the main circuit breaker between that and the meter. I could tell that because every time the AC was turned on and the inverter said it was sending back to the grid it was not and was unable to due to the incorrect placement of the current Transformers. When I brought the issue to their attention, they at first kept pushing back and saying that the set-up was done correctly and that I was in fact sending it back to the electric company. I, sadly, had to wait until the very next power bill when the Generac export statistics showed I should have sent about 100 kW back to the grid and the energy companies bill showed delivery at 38 kW back to the grid, which was a very stark difference of what they were telling me, and this was no margin of error this was a huge mistake. After I showed them the bill and had them come out and look at the set-up for themselves their electrician did admit that it was not set-up as it should have been, however they didn't see a way to fix the problem. I tried calling two other electrical companies and because they knew that another company had performed the installation they refused to help and one of the electrical contractors pressed me to file a complaint with the North Carolina State board of examiners of electrical contractors to hold this company accountable and weeks went by during that, and they ended up getting served a notice of violation. I didn’t want to file a complaint against the company, however I felt I had no choice since other companies were refusing to help. I did end up fixing that problem with the help of another electrician. Now sadly months later into May of 2022 the Rs snaps or PV links on my solar panels have begun to breakdown and now I'm not producing what I was paying for. I brought the issue to the attention of 365 Solar Energy and initially they said that they would order replacement parts so I waited a about a month and then confirmed with Generac that they had received the parts however 365 Solar Energy initially denied they had received the parts and then they confirmed that they had received the parts but they wanted me to go with a different solar company and I ask them are they Generac dealership and they explain yes they are so I began asking many questions and it went in a circle and we finally got to the heart of the matter in the conversation they said they did not want to send out the manpower nor do they want to spend the money on gas and they also did not want any more trouble from the state so the real issue came down to they did not want anything more to do with me because when I had filed a complaint with the North Carolina State board of examiners of electrical contractors they were served a notice of violation and apparently they were still angry with me so now they've essentially asked me to go somewhere else and they will not serve anymore.

A salesman came to my house and explained to me all about how solar works, including how it can pay for itself. It seemed complicated at first, but he spent the time to make sure we understood everything before we decided to buy the solar system for our home. The installation is a multi step process, but I was aware going in it wouldn't happen all at once. The system actually makes a little bit more power than promised and my bill is lower than it's every been. They were very professional 👍

365 solar power (365 Solar Energy) is the electrical power developed by the solar system installed by 365 solar energy. The energy developed is not actually generac solar power, but instead, electricity produced by 365 Solar Energy's system, and stored inside the generac solar battery. It is the same energy, just stored differently.
