I appreciate the flexibility with The Joint with walk-in's. I have a busy schedule and many other chiropractors are only open at certain times and you have to make an appointment. I tend to go when I can fit it in my schedule quickly. So the flexibility I appreciate, especially in this phase of my life. However, the one thing I cannot stand is every time I go in every Chiropractor always states that I need to go more frequently. I am friends with a chiropractor in another city and he told me that I only need to go every 6 months unless something arises where I need to go in before then. Looking at the literature what he said is right. The literature shows that typically maintenance is recommended anywhere from monthly to semi annually. I actually go ever 2-3 months, which is more than my friend recommended, but I still get lectured every visit which leads me upset ever time. I appreciate the flexibility of going in, and the good prices, but them telling me to come in more makes me feel like they just care about money. They always try to sell me some type a plan, I have been going for years, so they should know that I know about the plans. I actually bought a plan when I first started going to the Joint and my visits ended up expiring before I could even use them so it was a waste of money. Like I said it makes me feel like they care more about money than anything. Every time I start looking at other chiropractic offices for future visits, just because I get so mad about it. Also the chiropractors sometimes make it sound like I am not doing what I need to do for my health for not coming in monthly. It is annoying because as I said I know I don't have to come in that frequently. One day I may actually make the switch to another chiropractor that doesn't just try to sell me stuff. I used to have one like that in another city and I enjoyed that experience way more overall. I never felt like I was guilted to come in.

I love visiting The Joint Cedar Hill. My experience at this location is always good. Great customer service from the time you walk in until the time you exit. Dr.Spencer is absolutely amazing. He’s patient, he listens and knows exactly what to do to help keep me aligned. He offers suggestions that really help. I make sure to stop in for a visit twice a week.

Called to cancel auto-renewal 5 seconds after the charge went through and they are refusing to credit it back to my account. I used 3 visits total after paying for 2 full months and they still are refusing a refund for my 3rd month after 0 visits. I also said I would like to cancel and they threatened to put me on a late payment list if I didn't cancel in person because they don't accept cancellation over the phone, you just show up in person and fill out paperwork before they accept a cancellation. The reason I didn't go more than 3 visits is because my back was sore and after they "adjusted" my back I went home and woke up the next day in so much pain I could barely walk. My guess is they use good marketing to keep their ratings high (that's why I chose them) but this was a terrible experience and sleazy way to do business in my opinion.

Dr. Spencer is by far one of the best chiropractors I have seen at any of the joint locations. I go once or twice a month for routine adjustments and he has been one of the very few to take his time and pay close attention to any areas that are misaligned. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing pain relief.
