I discovered Big Lots when I moved into a new house and needed numerous household items. I found plenty of good deals and a lot more convenience and helpful staff than at bigger stores. Not as comprehensive but terrific for basic needs. The store has remodeled and expanded a bit in ten years but still great for basic bargains.

This place is fun to visit. You never know what you're gonna find. It's never very clean, usually pretty messy. We love to find great priced seasonal items. Careful on some dated foods. Check dates. Workers are pretty efficient but not the friendliest. Hurry up, buy our stuff, get out...
