This place since new owners have taken over has taken a total new look.the place is not the same.in fact the restaurant has increased it's price so much I will never ever eat there again.they are not fixing the docks.its a very very terrible place now.find a better more reasonable restaurant and watch your step on the docks.warped boards nails sticking inches above .no security.peoole getting things stolen off their ships.

Nice marina and boatyard

This is where we were previously keeping our 38' sailboat. The new marina owners have raised prices by an obscene amount, made absolutely NO IMPROVEMENTS to the current facilities, and have declared no more full-time liveaboards to be allowed here. We are locals who live down the street. This marina is the closest to our home. However, you can now find us at Halifax Harbor Marina where the prices are fair, the docks aren't broken and floating away, the trash cans are ample and easily accessible, and the dock carts aren't filthy and full of fish blood and guts. We absolutely do NOT recommend Adventure Yacht Harbor as a boater friendly marina. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

New owners bought the marina recently. I started hearing rumors about a rate increase but no email or notice from the new company. Went to the office to seek out more information and the rumors were correct. A 65 percent rate increase starting December 1st with zero notice. Insurance increases, charging for water. This isnt the Abacos! Same broken docks with nails sticking up missing boards. Electric still broken on some docks. Same shallow channel only passable at high tide. Same blood stained broken dock carts. No lights on outer docks. No 24 hour security. Limited trash cans on docks. One bathroom stall for entire marina. Dirt parking lot that floods during rain showers. Limited parking on busy weekends. No additional ammenities, just a 65 percent increase! No pool, wifi, floating docks, etc, but charging prices that would reflect this. New management can do whatever they want. Just the way they went about it was highly unprofessional. I am sure they have grand plans for this small marina in Wilbur by the sea. I dont think they are in touch with the fact that this small town wont support this. This isnt south florida. If you raise the rate 65 percent, and 65 percent leave, has anything been gained mathmatically?!

Nope. The new marina owners have raised slip prices by 65% just 30 days after "officially " taking over. No fulltime live aboards allowed, according to the new rules.
Yes
