First off a lady #3 patient processing cube is rude! Took her desk scissors to open my catscan drink? when I ask was thar sanitary she lied and Said yes!! What a joke 🙄 seriously ask for a new 1 then she tried to say I couldn't leave without starting it! Racial Ruby I call her as she is insane to think I'll let someone do that to me!

BEWARE of billing for preventative tests. I had a bone density screening in Sept 2021 and I am still fighting to have it billed as preventative. My physician has repeatedly advised to the billing department that it was preventative (59 years of age). Yesterday, United Health Care called their billing department and they were told that Radiology Associates of Port Orange, only bills diagnostic for the bone density screening. This test is listed as preventative through the Affordable Care Act.

I would give 6 STARS if possible! I'm not sure if each specific office/location has a team of schedulers or if the appointment schedulers are centralized and schedule appointments for all locations. The number I called each time was for the Port Orange location. That being said, this review is specific to the team who schedules appointments. Hands down, they were the most: helpful, friendly, courteous; and they provided a patient-first experience that exceeded my expectations. I spoke with several appointment schedulers and each person contributed to this review. The 6th STAR: One of the schedulers specifically is the reason why this was a 6-STAR experience. Katie W., thank you for going into work today! I can't begin to express just how much I appreciate your patience and willingness to help. Katie W. saved me time and was able to answer all my questions. I DO NOT want to set the wrong expectation with the following information; I am simply sharing about my experience and why my expectations were exceeded. Phone wait times: don't be alarmed if the automated system tells you that your caller #9 in que. You will be provided with updates and it's nice to know that your call is closer to being answered. Different days and different times might have different results; my wait time was incredibly short each time I called. Appointment availability: I called late in the day and was offered a next-day appointment. Pricing: I can only speak for the specific x-ray service that I needed but once again, Radiology Associates had accurately quoted me a self-pay price that was the most reasonable and fair price in the area. I'm not talking about a small savings but the next closest price quote was a little more than 5x more which is a savings of $179. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the level of help and the quality of service I received this far. As a side note: I called most of the imaging/radiology centers and several urgent care offices that offer inhouse x-ray services that are located in/around New Smyrna Beach, Port Orange, and Daytona Beach. The reasons why I chose Radiology Associates is explained above in my review.

I've had 3 MRIs here, yesterday was number 3, the experience has always been pleasant even if the MRI itself is less than fun lol. Friendly and helpful staff.

Based on my experience it depended on their schedule and if it was self pay or insurance. I definitely would call first especially since insurance information and co-pay information must be verified before your procedure.

I was told I could pull up the release of medical records form on the website but I can't find it. Could you direct me please?

I believe so. Give their office a call to be sure, seems simple I know, but I also know some people fear the run-around it takes to call most places for answers. However, the staff here is wonderful and should be just a quick call, question asked, and answer given type call. Good luck! 😊
