My wife joined me on a business trip to New York for a week and I was excited to take her to the Omega store on 5th Avenue. I had been discussing the Planet Ocean from Casino Royals with her for some time and looked forward to shopping for a Seamaster and perhaps purchasing one in NYC, which I thought would have some meaning since we live in Los Angeles. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but when we finally were able to get time to visit the store, we were greeted and shown watches under the glass, but there was almost no effort to answer our questions or show us the various watches with different features. The sales rep seemed less than eager to answer any questions and I felt like I had to persuade him to provide information and let me try them on. We went in well-dressed and clean. I am an executive for a large entertainment company and could easily have afforded to purchase a watch that day, however, with the underwhelming customer service, we decided to walk away. I love Omega watches and would very much like to own one, but this put a bad taste in my mouth, and my wife now feels the same way. She would have been very supportive of the investment in a fine Omega watch and now I will likely be looking for a Rolex Submariner or other luxury brand instead. Service is key to any business and I worry about purchasing from a company that has such poor performing sales people. Very disappointing.

Very nice watches. Service was great. Erick was especially patient and even gave recommendations

A fantastic place to buy a watch which will be part of you forever. Thank you to Rach for making this decision to a magic moment.

The Chinese sales assistant should go for training again, first she should learn how to smile, and be shearffull and grateful, these apply to all Chinese working in high-end stores in NYC, SMILE, BE SHEARFFULL and grateful to work in such establishments

They have a full service department, just go to the boutique and drop it off. They should give you a price on how much it would coast. I wouldn't recommend sending it in for service anywhere else.
Over the years, Omega have always resized and even changed straps for me. No charge!
