I have NEVER EVER heard of any banking institution holding a check for a day or two(payroll, government, etc)!!! No matter what kind of check it may be???!! Other than this, I am sure the CU is fine.

There is nothing about this credit union that is focused on removing roadblocks from a customer experience. Many times I have asked questions about banking process that should be native to the organization and time in and out I have been passed bad information. If you have the ability, take your money elsewhere. I will be pulling mine out and using my Navy Federal account. The only thing PVFCU has going for it, is that you get paid a day early. In my opinion, it's not worth the additional headaches. Something as small as communicating effectively when a check will come off hold can make a world of impact to someone. Please remember that before communicating bad information. Additional information: I have requested documentation 3 times and was told that a manager would get back to me and I have yet to receive a call back! What the heck is going on over there?! Today I start the process to close my accounts. I already moved my payroll direct deposit over to Navy Federal. I won't get paid one day early but it's worth not dealing with the headaches. Do NOT go through this credit union. I signed up for an account so I could get a loan however it's almost impossible to get ahold of someone and even when you do you get NO help. I've never had such a bad experience with a credit union until I opened an account here.

They barely explain the details of how to log into the app they wouldn’t help me when my login wouldn’t work and I wanted to reset my password and user name and the company has gone very downhill from my mothers generation very disappointed they need to hire more staff to be able to accommodate people
