Nurses and most doctors were great. However thanks to the incompetence if the attending we were left stuck in a room for 40min. All they had to do was sign the discharge papers and my sleeping 1 year old daughter could go home.

ER is disgusting. Looks like everything hasn’t been cleaned in 10 years, including the walls, chairs, bathrooms and any other place you can think. Staff has an attitude problem. Mad that people are mad they are waiting 3+ hours with their sick, screaming and in pain children. It’s not fun for anyone but a little empathy goes a long way.

This will probably be a review that management will never see or just consider another “complaining patient.” This is a huge hospital company so this will not mean anything but if anyone is thinking about bringing their little one here, try somewhere else. My son (1yrs old) was sent here from urgent care his o2 stat was low and trouble breathing. We got put in a room with another person, not admitted. They gave a treatment and never re assessed him, left him for 3 and a half hours. My husband tried to ask the nurse if she can check him again.. never came back. He then had to complain to the charge nurse which she gave us a number for patient experience- which I know will go know where. We are one patient among thousands, and feel like we’re expressing our feelings that will go in one ear and out the other since they’re just a big company. It’s sad that there wasn’t any concern for my poor baby to even get the least amount of care.the bare minimum. Not even above and beyond just check on him atleast!! I understand there are priority patients, but how does one know if he is a priority with his repository issues if he hasn’t even been checked on. Unacceptable. My husband is a healthcare provider and this is NOT quality care.

Age limit is actually 26 max. I'm 24 and an orthopedic patient they will continue my career for two more years
Yes, the craniofacial team is great!
I don't know sorry
Yes the neurosurgery and orthopedics teams, among others, work with children with spina bifida
They do have a cranialfacial dept. If that helps..im not a surgeon.
Yes they have the best neurologist around
Maybe a referral to the Gastroenterology clinic would help.
I believe Volunteer Services is always looking for volunteers. The website will give you the appropriate CCMC phone # to call.
It would be best to call and ask about information on transferring patients to the hospital
No. Ccmc is separate from Hartford Hospital/Hartford Healthcare. They share the same "block" but are separate hospitals. (I'm employed at CCMC)
I have A 2-year vv with glucojenocis how can I move it from Mexico to aka
I'm sure they would allow them they gave my premie, a wabanub when she was born she she could hold the stuffed animal on the pacifer...
No the institute of living handles those cases
I would agree with Jucenta. You need to check. The hospital is very helpful.
