The in-store experience is rather nice as the store has a large and open produce section where you will be able to also locate the Deli, Bakery, Fish Monger, and Butcher, however, the phone service leaves much to be desired. Over the course of several calls, I asked if the store held an item in stock, yet half of those calls resulted in no answer, and the other half the store representative put me on hold and then hung up.

Employees were very helpful and friendly, they all here smiles on in most departments. Tend to go later in the evening because of rude department manager. Love shopping here. Always has good sales and no self check out. Store was stocked and very clean.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALMOST A THING OF THE PAST BUT NOT AT THIS ROUSES !!!! THE MANAGER, JOE, AT THIS ROUSES IS ONE HECKUVA GREAT MANAGER !!!! GREAT JOB !!! WE BOUGHT ONE AND ONE-HALF POUNDS OF CRABMENT, CREAMED CORN, CREAM OF CELERY SOUP AND A QUART OF HALF & HALF TO MAKE CORN AND CRAB BISQUE. WHEN THE SOUP WAS DONE IT TASTED FISHY.. BAD. WE DUG THE 2 CRAB CONTAINERS FROM OUR TRASH … THE POUND SMELLED FINE BUT THE HALF POUND CONTAINER WAS REALLY STINKY. WE CALLED THE STORE AND JOE WAS VERY NICE! HE APOLOGIZED MANY TIMES. I OFFERED TO BRING THE SOUP FOR HIM TO TASTE AND THE CRAB CONTAINERS - SO HE COULD SMELL. HE SAID OH NO !!! JUST BRING YOUR RECIEPT. ROUSES IS “MY STORE” I HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO ROUSES SINCE HURRICANE KATRINA WHEN THE HUGE COMPANY WALMART HAD EMPTY SHELVES BUT ROUSES HAD FOOD FOR US !!! I NEVER GO TO WALMART AND THIS JUST RECONFIRMS THAT MY CHOICE OF ROUSES IS THE RIGHT CHOICE CHILI’s FED ME BAD FOOD ON FATHER’s DAY AND REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY. I BOUGHT A PHONE CORD FROM AT&T IN THIBODAUX on 12/3/21 and IT BROKE - WOULDNT CHARGE - THEY HAVE A ONE YEAR WARRANTY BUT THE MANAGER REFUSES TO REPLACE MY CORD. PLEASE CHOOSE OUR LOCALLY OWNED ROUSES FOR YOUR GROCERIES !!! PLEASE CHOOSE ROUSES - THEY WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN !!!
