The rooms are a little bit dated and eclectically decorated, but they make up for it in service. Honestly the people at this hotel are so incredibly nice. There are 24-hour beverages at the office and they give you cinnamon rolls for breakfast and oatmeal and a few other things. If you thinking about going rock hunting in door county this would be the place you would want to stay. The beach is literally feet from lake and it is covered with agates and basalt geodes with crystals and also some amazing fossils. It is very low key it is not a busy town and everyone here is incredibly friendly. The motel is a few minutes away from some really good restaurants and right along the boardwalk. Fire pits and beach chairs for every room. Definitely try to get a lakeside view.

Super relaxing place right on the Lake Michigan beach. Love evening bonfire right on front of your hotel room. In town Algoma is god restaurants and wineries 10 min walk. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Room was very clean everything was nice plus they had a place to have A-bomb fire right on the beach Hit coffee donuts and Orange juice

Enjoyed our stay, right on the beach, private area, sat on the balcony, watched the sun rises, and the full moon gorgeous, the waves lulled you to sleep, also had fire pits. The staff were very friendly. Yes it is a Motel, but I would definitely say location, location, location. Will definitely be going back. Social distancing & safety practices were in place.
