Ciarlo Monumental Works was okay. I live out of state and went in when my family member passed away to purchase the engraving for her headstone. It was in the fall so they could not guarantee it would be done that year due to it getting colder but it would be done the following year. Since I live out of state I asked for them to call me when it was completed and they took down my information and wrote a note to call me. Fast forward to early next summer and I haven't heard anything. I emailed multiple times and called but no one responded to my emails or answered the phone. When I was in Connecticut visiting I had to go to the cemetery to check and see if the engraving was done and it was, but no one from Ciarlo had let me know like they were supposed to. That being said, the engraving looks great. My interaction with them in-house when I paid for the engraving was nothing over the top. Just basic interaction. If you're looking for above and beyond I would go elsewhere.

Exceeded my expectations! I would like to express my heart full gratitude to Jim and Joanne for their kindness, professionalism , excellent customer service and quality work. You went above and beyond to ensure the date of death engraving was done in my mom’s gravestone. After all the months trying to pursue it being done, unsuccessfully mind you, you accepted the job and promptly took care of it. I cannot express enough the peace of mind my family and I now feel. I highly recommend Ciarlo Memorial Works LLC. It is wonderful to know there are people in business that have a heart.
