I have been banking at a local bank for years and they would not approve me for a personal loan when I was looking to consolidate some debt to save money on my monthly expenses. A friend of mine recommended I visit Tomas (Branch Manager) at the Alltrust Credit Union that is five minutes up the road from my house. In a matter of a few days, Tomas had my application submitted and approved, my new accounts opened and got everything prepared for me to pay off my credit cards. It was the easiest, efficient and pleasant experience I’ve had at a bank in a long time. Shortly thereafter, I referred my dad over to Tomas and he was able to for the same for him and save him even more money. Where do I start? I have had them for a good 4 years. The totals on your bank account are wrong half the time and the customer service is friendly sure but nothing ever gets done correctly the first time with them ever. Their overdraft program sucks compared to other banks. I mean I could keep going but I really don't get how they are still in business.
