Why would Rosalind Black, the Director closed their client, Ms. Thorne's case without consulting her and refused to help her with legal counsel? Shame on Rosalind Black and Deputy Director Shantonu Basu. They are only concerned with getting government funding and not helping their clients at that location. This happened to my uncle too.

I am disappointed with the Manhattan Legal Aid Society. Rosalind Black, the Director informed me that her organization abruptly closed my case without letting me know. They have accepted my HRA information to get funding and Rosalind Black refused to assist me and didn't provide assistance in my critical need. I'm disappointed with Deputy Director Shantonu Basu for being abrupt with me during a housing court case inquiry and dismissing me. I wish these attorneys who accept any government funding would assist tenants in their critical need, but I find they aren't doing their job. This is a horrible agency.

I want to start by saying that Stella Ngono Ambassa is a compassionate person let alone professional lawyer that goes beyond her call of duty an extraordinary person that Im sure could be making more money somewhere else because of her knowledge and dedication she deserves 5 stars she is one of a kind. My standing ovation goes to this wonderful blessed women.
