I saw this on a whim on the day before the show ended. I wish I had discovered this work of art so much sooner - I have only seen one broadway show before this, and my sister had not seen any. We had no expectations going into this, and we came out shocked. Neither of us laugh/cry at movies, shows, etc normally, but both of us were so emotional during this. If you have the chance to see this on tour - immediately book tickets (although Jenn as the pilot was absolutely incredible on broadway). I can't put into words how moving this show is.

This was my 5th time seeing this wonderful production. Even though I can basically recite the entire show from memory, I still laugh and cry like it was my first time. One aspect that sometimes gets missed is the genius of the writing and frame. The writers visited Gander on 9/11/2011, the 10 year anniversary and constructed the show from interviews taken at that event. As a result, the play is not the true story of exactly what happened on 9/11/2001, it’s the collective memory (with all of human memory’s imperfections) recorded 10 years later. This is not a criticism, and was clearly intended by the writers, given several hilarious daydreaming scenes. The result is a wonderful story pieced together from thousands of people recollecting a moment that changed their lives (and all of ours). For those who were alive and old enough to remember, this show gives us a safe space to think back and remember not only the fear of that time, but the week after, when collective humanity took center stage. Bravo!

Don't know, but there are a lot of quick bite places in walking distance
There is a Marriot Hotel directly at broadway/times square, but you need to expect high prices as it is around one of the most expensive places of NYC
90min show and no intermission, so between 3:30 and 4.
As of now, through today. But that could change at anytime. Keep an eye on their website.
It's 3 blocks if you come out on 42nd Street. The theatre is on 45th Street between 8th and 7th Ave. Across the street from Dear Evan Hanson
Nope. Still going strong!
Less than 2 hours
One of the best musicals n broadway in a long time. Be ready to get misty eyed
Two sections on that here... http://www.shubert.nyc/theatres/gerald-schoenfeld
Yes
I would give yourself, at least, a 30-min window to collect your tickets. Even if you have to stand in line for a short time, you still have to account for entry, coat check, bathroom stop (there is no intermission), and getting to your seat.
Looks like it starts at 8pm each Friday night until the end of June. I did not look beyond then.
