The carpet is absolutely disgusting. We put our little 10 month old down to crawl after being in the car for 8+ hours and his hands and knees were black! I don't think the floors have ever been cleaned. In our group we ended up renting 4 rooms and every room had issues. Toilet wouldn't flush in one, the door lock was broke on a different room, the freezer was broke in the other. There was toothpaste or something all over the wall in the bathroom. It was all around a Dump. We have stayed in a few super 8s and this one was by far the worst. Will not go back not recommend this one. All 9 of us were very unimpressed.

Positive: The only positives of this hotel was it's location and price. Negative: The desk clerk that checked is in was very unfriendly.I observed her being rude to another person on the phone-and several other guests. Building is in poor shape and cobbled together. Best to knock down and start over. Breakfast offerings were very poor

Rooms ok. Pool is gross. Don't put your head under water. The hallway is a time capsule almost of dated carpets and walls. Evening staff was surly and saucey. Location is great just off interstate. The place is operated by a third party for Super 8. It's not a flagship Super 8 hotel. It's so old...

I was first reserved for 2 nights at Quality Inn in Mitchell, upon arriving we felt like we were in a dungeon, so dark and smelly and terrible customer service behind the counter. So my second night we decided to stay at Super 8 in Mitchell. What a difference! So lovely! And cost almost half the price at scary Quality Inn. Rooms were very clean and the lady behind the check in counter was so nice and helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome!
