Pretty nice campground. Sites are a little smaller compared to other state parks. Sand, sand, and more sand. But it is the other side of a dune from the water. Our site was about 110 ft from water. Beach area had bathrooms and concession.

Such a beautiful location. The most amazing bathroom and shower facilities. I booked my spot online. I was lucky to get something. Two things that stuck out to me... 1. Our fire pit was filled with other people's gross trash when we got to …

I just got back from a vacation in Michigan and we went to visit my nephew who was camped out at mears Park and he told me they have a 6 month lag on a reservations there. But being from Arizona I thought it was really nice there!!
There are grills near the beach but if you would like to be near your campsite I would suggest bringing one👍
I think quiet time is at 10 or 11pm
Hard to find free camping.
They should have the schedule posted in the bathrooms in the campground
No cabins in the camp ground, but private homes available for rent near by
Picnic tables and bathrooms with a few benches, over all a great beach!
Mears State Park is a beautiful place to stay in Pentwater. Lot's of camping sites, great beach, small town atmosphere. I'm sure there is no age limit on campers, because I have seen all kinds and models there. Have fun and enjoy.
When it gets closer to not freezing outside
