Mears State Park camp ground is right on Lake Michigan walking distance to downtown Pentwater Silver Lake State Park has a camp ground also downtown Silver Lake which is on Silver Lake you can see the Silver Lake Sand dunes from the camp ground The Silver Lake Sand dunes for off road open April 1 every year and closes on Oct 31st every year

Pentwater Pathways between Pentwater and Silver Lake (South of Pentwater) has some off road trails. Also, as mentioned above, Silver Lake offers a dedicated off road area for trucks, ATVs and other dune accessible off road vehicles.
The Pentwater plains offer some four wheeling experience, mostly dirt two tracks but there are some nice mud holes and off road areas there
There's a few seasonal roads. But they're pretty well traveled.
No there are not four wheel trails. Only hiking trails.
