Otter Lake Campground

We stayed here for a week over the 4th and loved it! We were greeted by a wonderful women at the front desk who was so nice and helpful. They give you a map of all the water falls and fun things near by, Munising is a short 15 minute drive. The lake is awesome with rentals for kayaks and paddle boards, cool swinging chairs and a small beach. The restrooms and showers are very clean. The campsite is ground is beautiful with tons of trees. We didn't see inside the cabin but they looked new and super cute. We will definitely be back!

We came to Otter Lake Campground mid May on my first RV trip. We stayed in one of the water/electric sites and loved being able to see the lake outside our RV. It is such a beautiful location! The new owners are making some great additions to the site and I hope to come back one day to see all they have done. Ellen is super helpful in answering questions and was quick at replying to emails before we came. We will certainly recommend the location to family and friends traveling to the UP. The surrounding area has many opportunities for hiking and sightseeing.

Was our first time there. Camp sight was cut out in back woods plenty of room for are 40 ft 5th wheel filled our tanks for fresh water was so relaxing after getting set up. Great owners real friendly was able to hear loons and other woodland animals. Hoping to be able to stay again for another week can't say enough great things about it

My friends and I stayed here in August of 2021. The site was absolutely amazing! The owners were personable and attentive. The restroom/shower facility was clean and actually had hot water (something you don't get at a lot of campsites). This place has everything you're looking for in a rural campsite. We had no electricity issues and our campsites were well groomed and maintained. The owners of this campground are the staff and the general feeling that they cared about their guests was present during our entire stay. The private lake was awesome! The grounds were peaceful, free of noise and light pollution, which was perfect for our escape from the city.
