This place is horrible. I have been to 4 clinics, in 6.5 years including out of state, and this place in Torrington is by far the most disorganized. They also have a real issue with truthfulness. I was TOLD by this clinic that I would transfer there with the same amount of take home bottles (2 weeks) as I had at my current clinic at the time. That never happened. 2 years later, and I’m STILL WAITING TO GET WHAT WAS ALREADY MINE. They don’t care if you have a job, kids, or anything else. They don’t care if you travel a far distance. They do NOT provide bottles for inclimate weather, and do not care if you can’t make it there due to unsafe driving conditions. Go ANYWHERE but here. My next move is a report to the state. I’ve had it.

I just moved to torington and want to get on the program but there telling me to go to one place and then Hartford to get a phisiphy! I'm an addict with no car how do they expect me to get around to these places?

It saved my life. If you decide that you want to change your life and surrender. The Hartford dispensary is the place... There is more than just methadone, theres groups on addiction and mental health. The counselors are amazing and work just as hard as you do even more to help you gain control of your life again...

these are not dosing hours and could be confusing. People need to know that there are very limited dosing hours..... with that being said, this place is a professional, helpful clinic. there are a couple really great counselors here! plenty of rules, but if you are serious about your recovery, and staying sober, the rules are no big deal at all. you need to purchase a lockbox for this clinic, and will get sent away without your clinic id, or if you are wearing pajamas. its imperative that you refrain frkm drug and alchohol use. not just because of those being the rules, but your health, and honestly common sense. Can't really think of anything else to tell anyone who's thinking of coming here. if you really need and want to help yourself, give this place a call. Don't let the stigma of methadone use and what other people say (who don't understand or know facts) stop you. this could really help you turn your life around and you font have to stay on it forever
