I have called to make an appointment stayed on the line for an hour & no one responded left a voicemail everyday for a call back & nothing. I have gotten treatment and labs & no one ever follows up. The treatment here is unbelievable I just moved to CT & having them as my pcp has been the worst decision as they dont take my medical concerns seriously.

Took my husband to first choice about his headach (he had a ruptured aneurym back in 2010) during the visit the his blood pressure went sky high, he was having chest pain and having problems with his balance. The doctor wanted him to go to the hospital because she said he never acted like that. He ran out of one of his medication. I told her that it needs to be refilled she said she would fill it. This happened on a Tuesday. The hospital told us to make sure he is taking his blood pressure medication. I called the pharmacy about his meds they said they didn't get the script to refill his med. I looked on line to see what the meds was for come to find out the meds that he is not taking is for his blood pressure also. Called first choice and I get no response. Today is Monday almost a week later and he still does not have his meds and I can't get no one on the phone to help me. If you have a very serious medical problem don't use them.

My son and I went today for an appointment with Dr. Karl Hartmann, we arrived a little early and were called immediately. We didn't waste a minute waiting. Triage was quick and Dr. did not keep us waiting for a long time. Excellent professional, extremely attentive and concerned in clarifying our doubts. Note 10 for First Choice East Hartford!

This clinic beats chs and charter oak by miles, the dentist is kind and absolutely no hack, she knows what she is doing and is painless to a point, there Dr is highly intelligent, doctors for 20 years have been trying to get my bp under control even cardiologists, she prescribed me 1 pill problem solved, I had a severe vitamin d deficiency she diagnosed this and corrected it, your health is your prime concern no judgement, they work on a slideing scale, I give this clinic 5 stars, everthing in 2 places close by, great doctors and dentists, Belgrave me I have had more dental work than anyone person should have in 3 lives and I know a hack dentist and a competent one, competent!!! As far as doctor's go when she wanted to fix my bp I told her better doctors than you have tried to fix it in 20 years no luck, I did not mean this as an insult but if a cardiologist surgeon can't fix it how can you! Highly intelligent, definitely recomend.
They do not have many telephone operators. But it's something they're trying to fix.
