In response to the owner, you have addressed several concerns regarding other hotel guests. Many of the issues you have identified I know nothing about nor do they pertain to the problems I identified in the original review. As for my frustration, my family's right to security and safety as your guests were compromised. We left for many reasons including the impact the lack of cleanliness could have on our family members health. While my husband asked about a refund for that evening we are not surprised you did not honor it and we were okay with that. It was our decision for our personal safety and health to pay for 2 rooms in one night. We are blessed to afford that option. It's disappointing to see the poor customer service, lack of concern for one's safety and health, and assumptions that you have put in your response. I hope you will make some changes so that future guests have a pleasurable stay.

We chose this hotel for its value and location. We needed a restful stopover during a road trip. Prices at some of the other hotels in this area were more than double the cost. We were hesitant to stay, because the price was so much cheaper, and we saw some unfortunate reviews. Happy to say that we had a good clean and comfortable room, and have absolutely no complaints. It had everything we needed, and then some. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Would stay again, and recommend to others.

Negative: I could have looked past the moderate lack of upkeep, but the hotel staff was hostile and verbally abusive. I¿m not one to leave negative feedback. I travel a lot and rarely leave reviews. I¿m still shocked at how I was treated here.

There were roaches in the room also gnats flying around. Bed sheets and towels were stained. Shower door was broken. The air conditioner didn't cool the room. I expected more from this hotel. I will be staying else where on my next next visit to Dothan.
