We went out to dinner in May in downtown Stamford and parked in the municipal garage. We paid the parking with our VISA card and three weeks later received a $50 ticket for not paying! Sent an apparel to the Parking Violations Bureau with proof of payment and they rejected it saying we did not enter our Plate number correctly even though the violation had the correct plate number! This is a scam! The City of Stamford is killing their local restaurant business with bogus parking tickets. We'll never eat in Stamford again!

I can't understand why they issued me a parking ticket while I was parking at the cove island park with a valid permit that I purchased last month. This is out of control and feel like the parking ticket officer it's been racist about it. Attached is the photo of my windshield and permit parking I will take it as a consideration and call news and make a big scene for it. Can't understand this!!!

Stamford CT.gov or you can go there in person
They can visit the beaches Monday thru Friday... anyone who does not live in stamford cannot visit the beaches on weekends unless accompanied by a stamford resident and still a resident of stamford is only allowed 1 guest per stamford resident...
Call the Town Clerk's office to find out.
