I researched every daycare in the area when I was choosing where to send my son. Before Primrose opened, I chose one daycare that was very close to my office and he HATED it. He cried every single day I had to drop him off and when I showed up to pick him up, he was just sitting there in the middle of the room by himself. It was a daycare...just that. Well, I could bring him to work with me. If I was going to be away from him, I wanted him to be in a place that he was learning and flourishing, having fun. I took him out of there quickly. He started at Primrose the first day they opened - we started with 3 half days. He loved it so much that the 2nd week we bumped right up to 3 full days. Primrose is more than just a daycare. All of the staff members are highly qualified and personable. My son was beyond ready for Kindergarten. My daughter is currently in Pre-K there and she LOVES it. She loves her teachers so much and all her friends in the class. Another thing that was SO important to me was the safety of the school. The school is very secure and I don't feel the need to worry while they are there - I know they are in good hands and safe. The owner, Diane, is so nice and has done such an amazing job with this school. It is such a great addition to our community. Not to mention, she does a lot for our community, donating to non-profits and raising money for families in need. I've had so many of my friends sign their children up here. It's the best decision we've made for our children.

**Update - I have been in the Preschool field for over 20yrs. Recently I left my last place of employment and currently work out of the industry. The owner of this franchise searched my name on LinkedIn and found that I previously worked for a competitor and thinks I still do. That is true, I did in the PAST. I never updated LinkedIn. She is also accusing me of coming to her school because she is building another location that she believes is of interest to me. Since I am out of the business it does not matter to me. Furthermore, since Primrose is a franchise, how would I know that the 2 locations would have the same owner. Regardless, when anyone walks into a business to tour or ask questions, you treat them with respect. It doesn't matter why you are there. Since my tour this owner has harassed me to figure out who I am and what I wanted. I was accused of wanting her rate sheet, I asked for 2 prices that pertained to me and not another. She has also threatened me, that if I don't take this post down she will post all about me and my previous employer. If this continues I may have to seek further options. My experience with this school has been WAY TO MUCH! Really regret dropping in!!! I am getting a little nervous she may hunt me down since I gave her my real contact information. I stand by my review! I am so appalled about the treatment I received by this school when I stopped for a tour I had to write a review. One star is to good for them! As soon as I entered the school I was told that they were full without knowing the age of my children. Interesting! I asked how long the wait list was and they said there were 3 children before me. Again, without knowing how old my children are. I asked for a tour anyway because 3 didn't seem like to many. Funny how there was exactly 3 children on the wait list for every room! Not our first time on a wait list. The tour was rushed and I didn't feel welcomed or like I could ask questions. The person that toured me never cracked a smile or ask me any questions about my children. She didn't walk me into the Toddler room when we toured but she did walk me in the PreK and both camps. When we returned to the desk she handed me a folder to send me on my way. I asked if rates were in the folder she told me I would have to register to get them. So I was supposed to register without a price? I really wanted the price of my sons tuition only I asked for the registration fee price and couldn't get that either. Really!!! I was so mad that I emailed the owner before I even left the lot. Can't believe anyone would be treated this way and I told them that I didn't want to be on the waiting list nor would I ever let my children attend that school. These are the people in charge of making sure my child is cared for, safe and educated! Great examples!

My child has been attending Primrose for over a year now. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful and includes all of the amenities any parent could want for their child. From the large playground that allows for the kids to be separated by age, to the well kept and well stocked classrooms to the vast amenities other daycare's/schools do not offer (i.e., diapers, wipes, snacks, breakfast, lunch). My child has been extremely happy and well loved by all the teachers. I personally have not noticed a constant change in the teachers and they certainly do not seem "inexperienced." All of the main teachers have degrees and plenty of experience teaching. The only teachers that may not have experience are the younger assistants that I see, mostly, in the evenings. As for the "abuse" that the other reviewer spoke of, I've absolutely NEVER seen such incidents, nor have I seen them deny a child a drink or a snack. With regard to the diaper cream, teachers WILL apply diaper rash cream to a child, IF a note is provided by the child's pediatrician. I'm assuming this is to protect the daycare. Additionally, management, as well as the owner, have always been involved in day-to-day activities and care of the children. I see the owner/director/assistant director every single day that I drop off or pick up my child. I even see them assist the teachers with drop off and pick up. When my child has any type of incident, I'm contacted immediately by someone at the front desk and given a status update about what happened. On top of that, i'm given a report on what happened as soon as I pick up my child. I don't have a lot of experience with other child care centers, but I can tell you this one has been wonderful to me and my family and I will be sending my 2nd child.
