The worst law enforcement establishment I've ever dealt with. I understand that one's yearly salary isn't that high, but I expect respect and acknowledgement when spoken to. If not, as stated one doesn't obtain a large salary but ones duty is to serve and protect their citizens. Apparently NJ is beneath the criteria of simple law enforcement.

Shame on you Hackensack PD for allowing impulsive sound after 10pm. Five months living in Hackensack in the middle of a community of Ecuadorians I can't do it anymore. Almost every weekend there's a disrespectful neighbor partying with unbearable music. I don't care where you came from but you have to respect your neighbors and the law. Between 12am and 1:45am I made five calls to Hackensack PD and they only shut down the party at 2am, unacceptable the attitude of this police department.

I had a car accident in August. The police were called and got my statement and the other person's statement. I wanted to amend the police report was told I couldn't. I was very upset and my car was pretty damaged. They never called an ambulance to take me to get checked out. My car was recently totaled. My son took me to the hospital 2 hours after the accident and I have injuries. Incompetence totally on there part. Extremely mishandled this entire accident.

There's a deer 🦌 (a pretty big deer) walking down 1st street until going into a backyard so I called the police 🚔 and they said there's nothing they can do...I explained how fast deers are and how big this deer was & if it comes darting out & hits a car (with a child) it will cause major damage. So again I asked the officer can he at least call animal control to get the deer & release it back into the woods; by this time the officer was aggravated and told me that I'm wasting time. Well God Forbid it hits a car especially being that it's morning rush hour I wonder who's time will be wasted!!!!
