In summary: Don't do it if you can avoid it. Immediately upon entering the lobby there was a slight odor which is always a telltale sign of what you will find in the rest of the building. Small, old hotel not at all up to the same standards of another Americinn we stayed at in Northfield the night before. Bathroom was disgusting and tiny. Stains on the wall. Towels did not look like they had been bleached. Hairs in the shower before any of us used it. And the shower and curtain were stained. Bed was fairly clean and I did check for bedbugs and didn't find anything....but other than that tried not to look too close, lol. Breakfast did not have anything hot but was sufficient and did have breakfast sandwiches you could heat up.

This is not a real AmericInn. It's an old hotel (possibly a DaysInn if I had to guess) converted into an AmericInn. No pool, no concrete walls for quiet rooms. That being said the rooms are remodeled fairly well. AmericInn used to have certain standards, that went out the window when Wyndham bought the franchise

Staff Very Rude. Booked Handicapped Room at advertised Pet friendly Hotel. Was told upon arrival that I could not have my dog in the Handicapped room, but could have another room instead. Checked out the next day finding an undisclosed $35 charge for the dog.

Walls were VERY thin - neighbors weren’t noisy but we could hear every word they said. TV was tiny. Weird smell - like a fragrance trying to cover something up. Fridge needed replacing. Beds and pillows were fine - comfortable enough for one night of sleeping. Breakfast was free so I didn’t expect much but it was waffles, bagels/toast/muffins, yogurt, boiled eggs, microwaveable sandwiches, coffee/juice/milk. I didn’t feel unsafe at all. This is a prime example of getting what you pay for - low price=lackluster hotel.
