Went to see Bay Ridge's own Irish band the Canny Brothers. The concert was postponed by rain and went on August 25. As usual a large contingent of followers attended. Hudson Valley, Rockaway, Breezy Point, Staten Island as well as Bay Ridge residents were well represented. The FDNY had one of its fire boats off the park spraying water high into the air. The Bay Ridge pipe and drums were also on hand to open the concert. They have t shirts for sale all to help fund the Bay Ridge St. Patrick Day parade. NIA has again sponsored summer series of concerts every Tuesday. Great bands. Beautiful sunsets over Staten Island.
