Had a very good time camping over the holiday weekend. However, still no bath houses yet or running water.

Nice picnic area. Scenic area around a small lake. Camping is primitive only. No water at sites and no electricity. Hiking trails are available. Upgrades are promised later on the year. Park needs funding.

We had a quite weekend camping there. There were only 2 other campers in tents. We camped in our cargo conversation camper so we are self contained but I wouldn't want to camp with a family ( bathroom issues)

For the price it is barely OK. The restrooms at the recreation area are closed. The restrooms and showers at the campground were so dirty and covered in mold they could not be used. The dumpstation was so overgrown and no signage for it that if you didn't already know where it was you would never find it. Campground host was not to be found for the most part, did see him once out cutting down the weeds around his camper. Trails are unkept to the point that they are impassable with trees down across them and weeds grown up everywhere. We stayed 2 nights and were the only ones there so it was quiet. Good fishing though. Lots of ants and mosquitoes and poison ivy everywhere.
