Polite knowledgeable staff. I didn't know I had to make an appointment because of covid precautions. These people were on point, helped me through the process, I was still in and out within 30 minutes.

I was told you have to keep the name that is on your driver's license. Unless you pay to get a name change.

Just go to dds and they will either issue you a temp permit or they will direct you to a qualified partner of the dds to preform a mandated assesment. Then the Doctor or counselor will give you a "certificate" of enrollment and then that will be you ticket to then go back to dds and obtain your temporary liscence.

No, you just have to know what days they do road tests and be sure that you are there by 4pm.
