LOVE camping here!! We camp on the Savannah River side. The campsites are clean & spacious with a picinic table, grill, fire pit, & power! The Dock is close, to jump off of & swim. The restrooms are kept clean (the toilets are clean!), full of toilet paper, paper towels and soap! Two showers with shower curtains, kept clean! There is a building with pool tables, and a firepit with swings outside of it, good for entertainment. Seeing distance is a mini playground for children. Parking pass is cheaper here than anywhere else you go! There are discounts for Senior Citizens & Elberton residents! Although I am neither, we love to camp at this location!!💞 We have also used the Danny Guthrie Pavillion several times, and have been very pleased with the building, the bridge, and the view! **Highly Recommended!**

Nice park for camping and enjoying Lake Thurmond. I placed Hercules ❤️ there and she's doing excellent! It won't be long and she will be released back into the wild!

Yes, we had our own. I don't think that they have rentals.
No beach area, but we found a small area off of one of the trails to float with our kids.
Only walking trails as far as I know
Yes the park is great the people are great and the facilities are well taken care of. Plus it's affordable for all.
