This is one of my fav libraries. Staff is friendly, never crowded, private study rooms are great. My only issue is there are no cell phone connections there. I don't plan on being on my phone in the library to disturb others, but if I reserve a private room I am unable to use my phone. And if I'm expecting a important call or text message I have no access to it until I go outside. If I am there for a few hours, I miss all calls and text messages. This is my only complaint, I wish phone services worked in the library.

Inside is much bigger than outside. It has good collection of books. I am a little surprised that librarians are giggling and making a lot more noise than the public.

Residents of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and some Virginia locations (Alexandria, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Falls Church, Loudoun County or Prince William County) may obtain a Prince George's County library card free of charge. There are no age restrictions on library cards, but parents are responsible for their children's cards and are required to share their information. Students under the age of 17 unaccompanied by a parent/guardian, or youth whose parent/guardian would prefer a more limited card, may sign up for a student library card. With the student library card you can borrow up to three items at a time and no overdue fines will be charged. Learn more at https://www.pgcmls.info/library-card-services
