My friend suggested this restaurant. I'm a Foodie so I'm always down to add another place to eat some good food. She ordered the Gumbo & Grits. She said she enjoyed it, but would rather style rice instead of grits. She also pointed out that the amounts of b seafood in the dish vs the price was very good. They did not skimp on the seafood. I ordered the Pork Belly Donut Slides with side of gouda cheese sauce and the Sweet Potato Short Ribs. I'm not a huge lover of fatty foods, but the sliders were fairly good. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. I was a bit peeved to realize that I was never given my side of cheese sauce that in paid for (I didn't realize it until I was looking through my receipts after I went back to my room 🙄). I'm not a coffee lover and the menu clearly states that the short ribs were cooked in a coffee red wine reduction. I've had coffee rubbed steaks before and like them so I thought I would be okay with it. And I love sweet potatoes. When my entree was brought out I wasn't pleased by the look, but I was optimistic. I didn't like it. I felt like my veggies were submerged in a pot of dark coffee. Plus for this dish to be billed as Sweet Potato Short Ribs, there weren't many sweet potatoes. There was more arugula than anything. Our server asks if everything was to our liking and instead of just eating what I really didn't enjoy, I told her I didn't like it. She asked if I'd like anything else. There really wasn't anything else on the menu that interested. I hate sending my food back. So, I asked her if I could swap out the sweet potatoes and arugula for some smashed potatoes and she happily obliged. This made the short ribs more enjoyable. If you are a coffee lover, then you'd love the meal. I didn't order a drink but there are a few that caught my eye. If I come back for a visits, then I'll definitely try a drink and the appetizers or a burger.

This was my second time visiting the ordinary pub. The first time, I had the best burger my mouth has had the pleasure of enjoying. My second time I brought my wife for our anniversary dinner. The crew made us this awesome card, and were all thrilled to have us done with them. Our servers were 5 stars, including the server in training, and the hostesses. The food was, once again, exquisite, and amazingly plated. I tried the salmon and it was incredible. I made the right choice coming back, and I’ll be back well before my next anniversary. Thanks to the staff for being awesome, attentive, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was good! We got the French toast and Mac and cheese. We wanted something light for lunch and we split that between 4 of us! The hostess was rude in my opinion but after reading reviews it appears I am Not the only one who felt this way. She was able to get our party of 7 in a bench that apparently had no showed which was great news but said if the other 3 in our party didn’t arrive in 3 minutes she would have to give the table up. Our friends were parking and having a tough time with it. She finally sat us and said we had to leave by 1:30pm for the next group to be seated. (It was 12:15 and we had no intention of wasting away a beautiful afternoon sitting in a restaurant!) but just knowing she was trying to give us a set time limit was not great especially when it’s up to the kitchen to make sure that happens for us. Our waitress was nice but the hostess was a little hard to overlook.

This is a really cool place to have brunch, however good luck looking for parking. The hostess was not the friendliest but our server was great. It did take about an hour to get seated and about another hour to get our food. We were so close to walking across the street to the biscuit place. All of their brunch options sound so tasty. My BF had the donut sliders and those were to die for. The brunch burger was good. The meal portions are very big. Our server accommodated a nice birthday surprise for my BF. We want to go back, but when it’s not so busy.
