Do yourself a favor and order the fried chicken!!
Joan Vogel
We had a marvelous time at The Pirates House. It was everything we expected and more. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes; they were accompanied by smoked gouda pimento cheese, absolutely delicious. I ordered the pecan glazed fried chicken. My plate appeared with a half fried chicken with a sweet glaze that was loaded with pecans. The mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed squash and green beans were magical finishing touches for the chicken. My husband ordered the fried shrimp and onion rings. His plate was loaded with very plump fried shrimp and Pirates House didn't skimp on the onion rings. We highly recommend putting The Pirates House on your destinations in Savannah.

If u are allergic to certain foods, it's best you don't eat out in restuants. I work in one, and all food crosses another at some point. It's dangerous to eat out and take that chance if your allergy is life threatening
There is a Sunday buffet i am pretty sure....go to there website for hours of operation and prices
https://thepirateshouse.com/lunch-menu
Buffet combined with regular menu at lunch. Kiddy menu too. Food was good.
No, music that is alive would be weird and more than a little dangerous.
They do have gluten free items on menu and fish dishes can be prepared gluten free as well as some meat selections. Their salads and veggies are excellent as well.
Not available but you can request a tour of the basement area. The manager may take you but its up to them
I'm not the Pirates House but I can answer your questions about the place and Savannah.
Try calling out his name in the atmosphere maybe he will answer.
Yes, we didn't have a reservation, if we hadn't ate in the bar it was going to be a 45 minute wait.
Don't know that it will be open
Yes
I dont believe they do. There really doesn't appear to be room for something like that!
I've gotten take out from there... just as delicious as eating it there!
Great comfort food, fresh seafood, classic recipes and lots of history. Established in the 1700's and some say it has a resident ghost or two.
I don't know, I was not there at Thanksgiving, you probably need to call them
No. We went around lunch time on a Tuesday and there was a wait for the restaurant but not the bar area. We found immediate seating
It's casual anytime. However some people were dressed nicer. We went in shorts.
Not that im aware of but i could be wrong
I don't know either. We went on a guided tour of the Pirate's House but I don't remember anything about that. Sorry.
The menu is available one their website. Here is the link. https://thepirateshouse.com/dinner-menu/
I think so Check website to be sure.
It is a little pricey but like Daniel said, well worth it.
I think for the most part, yes. The food is really good if you like southern style cooking.
No
No I don't think you would need a reservation. It would not hurt to make one though!
The Herb House is next door to the Pirates House.
With tip and dessert and drink around $20. We were in a group of 5 and total bill around $100
Buffet 11am to 8 pm. Reservations suggested. $32.95
I called the restaurant on this question and they told me it should have a menu and posted prices by the end of October to beginning of November keep an aye!! Out sorry had to do it. The last Thanksgiving I was there prices ran about $30 and the display was fabulous
I am sure you can Call the Pirates house directly.
