Second time at this location. Tubing or kayaking they are well organized. Tubes are 25. Cooler tubes 20 π¬yikes. It is what it is. The river is nice it takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on if you stop midway to hang out and eat lunch. βπ½π½

Dave and Connie helped us pull off a fantastic canoe trip for a large Boy Scout group. This was not their normal trip and they went out of their way to make it happen. Our boys had a great time. Thanks

I booked online and check-in was a breeze. They let us embark 30 minutes before our designated time. The river was peaceful and has enough flow that you only need to use the paddles to steer. The water level was low, but our canoe only dragged on the bottom once. The length of the trip was just right for us.

There is a hauling fee. Please call to reserve and we can answer any questions. Thank you!
Pretty sure you can bring your dog. I've seen even big dogs over there the few times I've been.
Closer to July 4. Some time in June depending on the river height and air temperatures.
The closest is Tippecanoe River State Park and Broken Arrow Campground (both within 5 miles) but there are others in the area as well.
All our trips end back at our place where your vehicle is located. That put in is our personal owned private ramp. You have to rent from us to use that ramp. We are not currently running this week (July 4th week/weekend 2021)due to the high river level.
Correct, we have some tubes with canvas bottoms and tube trackers that are great for an adult or an adult with a small child. https://www.riversidecanoes.com/trips
Yep. Some places are to the middle of your calf others relatively deep. If you get a rocket raft you can sit with 1 child per raft if their small or you can chill in a regular raft. All in all its great for family!!
It always depends on how much rain the areas have gotten. If you are considering a float trip and you do not know the waters, it's a good idea to follow the local canoe liveries if you are inexperienced. Give them a call.
We are the owners and it is "very highly recommended" that you wear some type of enclosed shoe if you are doing any sort of exploring or walking in the river at all. An old tennis shoe, something with an enclosed toe and back strap. We always wear (water) shoes. The more your foot is covered the better. We also have them for sale in the office if you cannot find anything. $15 adult size, $10 child size.
Its a good idea. There kinda handy for playing in the river. Enjoy your trip down the tippie river
Not really unless u stop in the park. But thats towards the end
There's a bus that takes you to the start point
Depending on how long of a trip you are doing. We always do the 7 mile, so we get on a bus/van after we check in and they take us to a spot down the river. We do our 7 mile trip and it ends right back at riverside rentals. So our car is right there.
If you have not booked already, we do not. We are booked solid. Sunday the 5th has availability.
The most popular trip is 7 1/2 miles. $40 per canoe or double kayak. $30 per single kayak. Age depends on physical ability. 10-12 year olds can but a lot get tired before the end.
Everytime we go i just let the current take me, paddling just for steering.
Yes its simple life jackets and its free..i was with tour so tube was included but paid $10 for cooler bucket
I have a cooler that floats also. Went last weekend and just tied it to my float no problems. I also seen people using styrofoam coolers.
You do need an adult signature. How old are you? Under 18 you need parental consent, have your parent call us for questions
