We are interested in the overnight double kayak route. Is there a decent current or is this grueling paddling each day?

Everytime we go i just let the current take me, paddling just for steering.

It has slowed way down but it still has a flow. We had several people do that trip this last weekend. Do you know when you are wanting to go? You do need to book at the State Park Canoe camp first.
