Great spacious library!

It's very rare that I feel it's necessary to provide a google review. But today is one of those days. The staff at Rust Library are absolutely fantastic! The passport service support that my family received today was incredible, staff were highly efficient, knowledgeable, and the library has a very warm and welcoming feel. The library itself is also awesome, if you live close to this gem, consider yourself blessed!

Lovely library. Too bad the staff are rigid and never utilize higher order thinking skills. They all act like the world will end if their routine is disrupted.

Expect librarians to come inside study rooms, and bicker at you over the most minor of things, i.e. not wearing masks while DRINKING substances. Was also reprimanded for eating within library even though they noted food was allowed in the library a few hours prior. I just noticed a librarian peeping behind someone's shoulder into their private study room to check and see if she was wearing a mask...complete invasion of privacy every employee who works here has a sad attitude and air of self-loathing. stay away

The usually have different activities for kids to participate in as well. Right now there is a scavenger hunt, an ispy display, and a story walk set up outside. There is also take and makes (packaged crafts that you take and then make at home) available of cute little pig puppets.
Employee here. Yes, there is an after hours book drop at the library. It's on the side next to the playground (Old Waterford side), opposite from the Rec Center (Ida Lee side). It's set into the wall on the right hand side of the entrance
There is one available in the system. You'd have to get it sent to Rust but that only takes a couple of days.
Library employee here. B&W printing is $0.10-$0.15 per page, but unfortunately you can't print in color at Rust (or any of the other Loudoun libraries). I second A L's recommendations of Staples or UPS.
I did see a passport desk in the corner. So I'd recommend to call them to confirm that they provide such a service
