Professional Knowledgeable Trustworthy I have trusted them with appraising my amazing wedding band set over many years. I highly recommend them and Frazier Jewelers.

We took our wedding rings to Kim Scott at Jax Jem Labs to have them appraised. She did a great job. She was very thorough and professional and the paperwork was completed in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with the results. We will take all of our jewelry to her in the future. I highly recommend her to everyone.

I was hesistant to go here because on top of there being no reviews it looked like I’d have to take my jewelry to a busted looking side of town (from the google street photo) and I was afraid I’d get mugged but this is actually a VERY nice neighborhood. I came here after getting my jewelry appraised by another independent GIA certified gemologist and not being completely thrilled with their report/appraisal. Although in some areas I think the first gemologist did a better job, or at least reported what I wanted to hear, they got a few things wrong and appraised my jewelry for less than what was actually paid so I wanted a second opinion. Although Jacksonville Gemological Laboratory also got things wrong (or at least inconsistent from the first appraisal report and reputable seller description) they made it clear in the report that they were indeed just estimating on the parts they honestly wouldn’t know without aggressive testing. I don’t fault them for the parts of the report I felt they got wrong, some areas are going to be left open to subjection and will vary appraiser to appraiser no matter what. The lady who did the report, who is so sweet, is actually really good and I have a lot of respect for her busting out the science. She really provides a true due diligence report/appraisal with market value research; not just sitting there giving her own opinion, 105X microscope analysis, UV lamp, polariscope, refractometer, etc. She even plots inclusions for large diamonds, “fingerprinting”. It’s pretty fancy. With this kind of thoroughness, this will not be a quick in and out service but in the words of my mother, “life is not a microwave” and some things are worth a 2 hour wait (with appointment). You will be provided two printed copies, one on regular printer paper and one copy that’s plastic comb bound into a book on premium parchment paper with cardstock front and back covers. I recieved the report in the mail only 3 days later. A few areas of potential improvement would be taking a picture of the ring gallery from underneath where the ring sits against the skin and possibly providing digital PDF copies of the report for future customers (you can still scan and create your own PDF). Honestly I’m surprised I’m the first to leave a google review so I know this was long and I hope I addressed as much as I could for the next person considering. This service was a much better value than my first appraisal. I’m very happy with the report and service I received.

Sorry we do not purchase, as it is a conflict of interest.

Can u tell me if my pearls are real

We may be able to determine if they are cultured, depends on if the pearl is drilled and the hole is visible. If you are trying to determine if they are "natural" they will have to be x-rayed. We do not have x-ray facilities. .
